FAQ´s
1. What makes Salsas De Cecilia different?
Each salsa is made in small batches using only natural, Non-GMO ingredients — no preservatives, ever. Every recipe comes from traditional Mexican flavors I grew up with, made the same way I’d make them for my family at home.
2. Are your salsas really all natural and preservative-free?
Yes! Every single one of my salsas is 100% natural and preservative-free. That’s why they taste so fresh and full of flavor — just simple, real ingredients.
3. How spicy are your salsas?
Each salsa has its own personality. Some are mild and flavorful, while others pack more heat. I always list the spice level in the description, so you can find your perfect match — whether you like a gentle kick or full-on fire!
4. Do I need to refrigerate the salsas?
Yes, once opened, please keep your salsa refrigerated to preserve freshness and flavor.
However, a few are a little different:
- Salsa Macha, Machita, and Macha de Nuez should be stored at room temperature in a cool, dark place — no need to refrigerate.
- Before opening, all other salsas can be stored in a cool, dry place for up to 12 months.
5. How long do the salsas last after opening?
For most salsas, they’re best enjoyed within 4 weeks for the freshest flavor.
- Salsa Macha de Habanero: Refrigerate after opening — lasts up to 12 months.
- Salsa Macha, Machita, and Macha de Nuez: Shelf-stable and can last up to 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place.
Chimichurri: Keep refrigerated after opening — good for up to 6 months.
6. Do you ship nationwide?
Yes! I currently ship across the U.S. so everyone can enjoy authentic Mexican flavor at home, no matter where they live.
7. How long does shipping take?
Most orders are processed within 2–3 business days and arrive within 3–7 business days, depending on your location. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
8. Can I use the salsas for cooking, or just as a dip?
Both! My salsas are super versatile — perfect for tacos, eggs, grilled meats, veggies, marinades, even pasta. On my website, you’ll find recipe ideas and videos to inspire you.
9. Are your salsas vegan or gluten-free?
All my salsas are gluten-free, and most are naturally vegan. Check each salsa’s description for details. Everything is made with clean, simple ingredients you can trust.
10. What’s the difference between Salsa Macha and Machita?
The difference is in the ingredients — Salsa Macha is made with nuts, while Machita has no nuts. However, please note that both are made in a facility where nuts are handled.
11. Do you offer wholesale or collaborations?
Yes! I love working with markets, restaurants, and creators who share a love for authentic Mexican flavors. You can reach me at cecisdavis@gmail.com or through the contact form on my website.
