Aguachile De Habanero

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. shrimp (peeled, deveined and butterfly cut)
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut into half slices
  • Avocado

For the Salsa:

  • 1/2 cucumber (with the skin)
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons (or to your liking) of Salsas De Cecilia Macha de Habanero
  • Small bunch of cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Maggi Sauce
  • Tostadas to serve

Instructions:

Place the shrimp in a glass bowl, add the lime juice, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate while you prepare the salsa.

Salsa: Blend all the ingredients together and pour over the shrimp. Add the cucumber and onion slices, then mix well.

You can leave it in the bowl or place it on a large plate and top with avocado slices.

Enjoy with corn tostadas.
